A DIFFERENT LANDSCAPE

Throughout time, the landscape and the light therin, has been a great inspirational source to artists. And as such, the exhibitors are here presenting new series of works, interpreting the landscape around them in close proximity to their own inner landscapes.  
The exhibition has also become a tribute to exhibiting artist Barbara Sørensen, who sadly passed away in December 2023. She was a true painter, working from the heart and with great knowledge and skills, following her own conviction and path in her artistic life. She is known for her desolate landscapes, conveying all the nuances of emotions and created with a muted palette of shades reminiscent of Vilhelm Hammershøi.
