Liza’s Gallery presents Danish and International Art in the historic settings in Farverstræde – right in the middle of Stege town. Artist Liza Krügermeier runs the Gallery and curates all exhibitions. There is always a substantial amount of her works represented in the Gallery.
The Gallery has existed in Møn since 2007 and each year, a number of talented artists – from Denmark and abroad - are invited to participate in four, large group shows. The exhibitions are most often themed and artworks include painting, sculture, objects and installations.
The old buildings in Farverstræde are dating back to 1774 and make a unique frame for the Gallery. The varied exhibitions, combined with the old court yard and the charm of the old buildings, create a peaceful, artistic and inviting atmosphere where visitors can enjoy a truly unique and authentic experience.
