Liza´s Gallery:
Liza´s Gallery was opened in 2003 on the
Greek island of Leros by the artist couple Rupert Sutton and Liza Krügermeier.
In 2007, they moved premises to the island
of Møn in Denmark where the gallery is now situated in Farverstræde, next to Stege town square.
Liza´s Gallery presents not only the work of Rupert Sutton and Liza Krügermeier. The gallery also arranges exhibitions for different artist from all over the world, so that visitors will always find an interesting collection of paintings, arts and crafts.

Rupert Sutton:
Rupert Sutton (1946) started his career in advertising at J. Walter Thompson and Saatchi and Saatchi. Later on he became a creative director in his own company RPM3.
During his working career, Rupert developed his interest in painting, and over the years he has held exhibitions in Hong Kong, London, Greece, Germany and Denmark.
Rupert paints in acrylics and oils.
Liza Krugermeier:
Liza Krügermeier (1974) has a background as an occupational therapist in psychiatry, but she changed her career with the opening of Liza´s Gallery.
Since 2003 she has mostly worked with still life studies of fruit and vegetables, in a traditional way, but also with more personal interpretations.
Liza has also started to translate her paintings and designs into textiles, and she is currently working on kitchen design projects. |
